It’s nice to meet you! I am a band and colorguard director in Northwest Arkansas, and I love it here! I have been a band director for 7 years in both Texas and Arkansas, and a colorguard choreographer/director for 11+ years in Texas, Oklahoma, and Arkansas! I have written choreography for guards with 4 members, 34 members, and everywhere in between of all skill levels. While in Oklahoma, I was the colorguard director for Oklahoma State University (Go Pokes!). Currently I direct the colorguard for Har-Ber High School in Springdale, AR, teach 7-12 band, and write choreography for many different schools.

After teaching colorguard for so many years, I found an audition system that works great for me and takes all the stress out of planning. I wrote a new audition routine 4 years in a row and realized I could now rotate between them each year so no student repeats a routine! (Who doesn’t love saving time in the spring semester?) I realized that these resources (and others) that I had created for my own colorguard could be beneficial to other programs as well, and thus…Colorguard Corner was born!
